English teacher

We are currently looking for a part-time

ENGLISH TEACHER

to join our team at the Czech Air Navigation Institute (CANI)
and teach English to air traffic controllers and trainee air traffic controllers.

CANI is a business unit of the Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic. We are a modern Air Traffic Management training institute with over 40 years of experience, delivering high-quality training to both our own staff and personnel from other Air Navigation Service Providers.

Job description:

• planning and delivering in-person English lessons in intensive courses for air traffic controllers;
• identifying students’ current level of English and providing feedback to students;
• teaching morning classes (4 to 6 lessons per day);
• teaching typically once a week, although not every week.

Requirements:

• native English speaker preferred; native or near-native level of English required;
• a qualification in English language teaching (CELTA, TEFL, TESOL or equivalent);
• experience teaching English to adults;
• ability to use a communicative approach to teaching;
• flexibility in working hours is an advantage, but not essential;
• knowledge of aviation is an advantage, but not required.
